    Field Set for 2019 Ryan T. Lee Memorial Collegiate

    Sixteen of the nation’s top collegiate golf programs will descend on Hop Meadow Country Club in Simsbury, Connecticut on September 6th – 8th for the 2019 Ryan T. Lee Memorial Collegiate. The tournament is an annual collegiate golf tournament that brings together top collegiate teams from throughout the Northeast each fall. Founded in 2010, the event aims to provide a first-class championship experience to each and every team and is conducted in memory of Ryan T. Lee.

    The tournament will begin with practice rounds on Friday, September 6th, followed by a welcome reception and dinner. All teams will play two rounds of stroke play on Saturday, September 7th and Sunday, September 8th, with four of the low five scores from each round counting toward the team total. The team with the lowest 36-hole total will be crowned the champion.

    Nestled in picturesque Simsbury, Connecticut, Hop Meadow Country Club is one of central Connecticut’s finest private clubs. The Geoffrey Cornish-designed layout has hosted the 1981 NCAA Division 2 National Championship, several USGA Qualifiers, and numerous CSGA Championships. The course will measure approximately 6,915 yards in length for the Championship and will play to a par of 36-36–72.

    Round one starting times begin at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 7th off the #1 tee. Spectators are welcome and encouraged to attend. Complete results and live scoring will be available at RLCollegiate.com.
